For players of Shadowverse OG, the introduction of Abysscraft in Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond has caused some discussion. This new faction merges the mechanics of the former Shadowcraft and Bloodcraft classes. Abysscraft's core theme revolves around death and graveyard interaction, allowing for tactical plays like sacrificing your own units to eliminate opponent units. Similar to playing Mono Black in Magic: The Gathering.
This style of gameplay requires careful setup and excellent graveyard management to assemble powerful combos. However, like any combo-reliant strategy, success hinges on drawing the right pieces, making efficient hand management crucial. In Shadowverse: Evolve, Abysscraft features abilities such as Necrocharge, which activates based on cards in your cemetery, and Sanguine, which triggers when your leader has taken damage in the current turn, showcasing combined playstyles from previous Shadowcraft and Bloodcraft classes.
Best Decks & Budget Options
Abysscraft isn't off to a great start so far, as it tends to struggle to close matches compared to other classes. This feeling is ever worse when playing a budget deck, as we have plenty of ways to keep our opponent's board clean, but not so much to threaten their health. With that said, it is likely wise to invest in early cards able to deal some damage to your opponent, and then rely on 10153310 to close the deal. Hopefully, the opponent will focus on developing their side of the board, something we are an expert at dealing with.
10154110 and 10104110 represent the biggest upgrades to this deck, giving this deck some real late game threats. Their addition reduce the need to play super aggressively early on. Combined with other damage sources, Abysscraft is finally able to leverage its great board control ability, using it to stall while the opposing leader keeps taking small chunks of damage from various sources.

Best Cards & Crafting Recommendations
- 10154110 and 10104110 are the required legendary cards to play Abysscraft at a decent level. You could get away with only two copies of the neutral, but the 8-cost is the star of the class at the moment.
- 10154130 is a great mid-game card, but can be targeted later on.
- As for cheaper cards, 10153130 needs to be played 3 times in all your Abysscraft decks at the moment. He is the king of the midgame when it comes to keeping your opponent's board in check. The card is so good we run 10151140 because of it.
