Portalcraft is a highly strategic and versatile class focused on manipulating portals to summon powerful followers. This class often involves cards that generate Puppets and other rush followers, allowing for incredibly strong turns.
While Portalcraft boasts a high power ceiling, it also comes with a high skill ceiling. Players who enjoy a particularly strategic faction will find this class rewarding, but it does require significant setup, making you vulnerable in the early game.
Portalcraft offers diverse playstyles, including midrange, control, and combo strategies. A key mechanic is Resonance, which activates when you have an even number of cards in your deck. Therefore, deck manipulation through drawing or adding cards is often crucial. Some effects may even require Resonance to have been activated multiple times throughout a match.
Artifact followers and cards that generate Puppets are often the backbone of Portalcraft strategies, alongside strong synergy with cards that have the Machina trait.
