Best Day 1 Decks for Every Class – Infinity Evolved

After a month of waiting, the new expansion Infinity Evolved is finally here!
Let’s take a look at some new and updated deck lists worth trying out on Day 1.

This set features only 77 cards, most of which enhance existing synergies, giving familiar decks more flexibility and support.

A notable newcomer is a Ward-based Havencraft deck, offering a powerful response to the Combo and Aggro archetypes that dominated the previous meta. It might even be strong enough to slow the game down overall.

Let’s dive into what each class brings to the table!

1) Portalcraft Artifact

What if you could spam even more copies of your Artifacts? That’s exactly what this version of the deck aims to do.

New additions like 10271210 and 10274120 help summon your 3- and 5-cost Artifacts more consistently in the midgame. They make the deck less dependent on Puppet-based tools (except for 10174120, of course).

10173210 is a possible replacement for 10172320, though I’m not fully convinced — especially with 10204110 entering the format. That said, the evolution ability of 10273110 makes me want to revisit 10172320. Preventing your Artifacts from being destroyed by abilities can put serious pressure on your opponent.

2) Portalcraft Puppets

The key new card here is the legendary 10274110, which summons a new Puppet token (10274110) and offers a defensive option: turning your Puppets into Wards during your opponent’s turn. This slows the game down and buys you time to reach your win condition.

Two other solid additions are 10272120 and 10204110. Stealing an opponent’s follower by banishing it and summoning it on your side? That’s exactly what 10272120 offers. 10204110 is simply too good not to run — it serves as a perfect bridge between your midgame and late game.

10273310 is also worth testing. While many players are finding success with it, I personally feel that the 6-cost slot is already crowded with better options like 10172130 and 10173120.

3) Swordcraft Midrange

This list is quite similar to previous versions but adds a new focus on token generation, thanks to 10224110 and the Rally keyword. Cards like 10122130 and 10022110 work perfectly here, helping you reach a free Super Evolution.

From there, why not take advantage of 10204120 and use its Crest multiple times?

Going second, a strong opening is 10223120 on turn 1, followed by evolving it into a 3/3 Ward + Bane on turn 2.

10224120 is a great counter to Storm and Rush followers. Play it on an empty board to gain tempo, and it can also block two enemy board slots, preventing cards like 10134110, 10174130, or 10174120 from being played effectively.

4) Runecraft Spellboost

A classic Spellboost list remains viable. The win condition is still to survive long enough to drop 10104120 and/or 10134310.

Earth Rite remains a better support engine for Spellboost, the Pure version lacking a true finisher on its own.

To improve midgame stability, I’ve added 10232120 and 10234120. I cut 10102310 to make room — thanks to 10234120, we now have easier card draw if needed. 10232120 helps against aggressive decks like Dragoncraft or certain Swordcraft variants.

5) Havencraft Ward

If you’re tired of Aggro and Combo decks, Havencraft Ward is here to shut them down. Think, “You shall not pass.”

You defend with early Wards, and on turn 6, drop 10264120 to shift into attack mode. It puts pressure on your opponent using powerful Ward followers.

10264110 is a great follow-up — evolve it and watch your opponent struggle to clear your board.

6) Havencraft Control

Prefer a more Control/Combo-oriented Havencraft? This version blends the old control core with elements of the new Ward engine.

If you don’t yet have the Ward legendaries, you can fall back on a more traditional build using cards like 10164110 and 10104120. Check out deck lists from last week — they won’t differ much if you’re missing the new additions.

7) Abysscraft Midrange

This deck has gained a bit more resilience in this set.

10254120 lets you reanimate early-game followers. I’m using it with a 90051120 strategy, running 10151110 as the primary target.

10252120 is another solid addition, especially in terms of board presence. It works well with cards like 10104110 and 10154110. Note that the 90051140 it summons can also be reanimated via 10254120’s Crest.

8) Dragoncraft Face

Aggro Dragoncraft looks stronger than ever!

We now have a new turn-1 option alongside 10143210: 10242210.

10244110 is a powerful new Legendary with Bane, an effective early evolution, and a devastating late-game effect when Overflow is active.

10204110 is another great fit — it banishes enemy followers and helps push Storm damage through to close games.

9) Dragoncraft Ramp

If you were lucky enough to pull 10244120 early, here’s a Ramp list that makes use of it.

Although the card feels underwhelming on turn 8, it shines when played on turn 5 or 6 after ramping. From there, just draw into your key cards.

For example, playing both 10143140 and 10143110 on turn 9 is now a realistic and deadly option!

10) Forestcraft Pixie

Pixie Forestcraft previously lacked a real win condition - but that may change with 10214110 and 10213110.

10214110 guarantees you’ll always have a 90011110 in hand from now on. No Evo Point needed – except to transform an enemy follower.

10213110 helps take trades in the midgame or push face damage after 10114110.

Also, evolving 10203110 with four unevolved Fairies on board = 12 damage to the enemy leader. Not bad, right?

11) Forestcraft Combo

Prefer the classic Combo version? It’s still here — nothing has changed, except for the addition of 10212310, which helps against aggressive decks.

Forestcraft Combo was one of the best decks last meta, but with more Wards entering the scene, will it stay on top?
That might depend on how popular Havencraft Ward becomes.

Closing Words

At first glance, this new set looks promising.

Aside from the new Havencraft Ward archetype, most cards in this set are designed to strengthen existing decks, offering better synergy and adaptability.

And for the most part—it works!

Just keep in mind: this is a Day 1 snapshot. The meta is sure to evolve quickly. But enough theory crafting — it’s time to play, experiment, and most importantly… have fun!
